COOKIE POLICY

Our webshop is operated by PRINTING THE FUTURE. In our webshop we use several types of cookies, including similar technologies. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what they do and which cookies we use in our webshop.

We may amend this Cookie Policy, for example when we switch to different cookies, when we change the use of cookies or in order to comply with regulations.

This Cookie Policy was updated on 04-05-2023.

1               What are cookies?

1.1         Cookies are small text files that are sent to and stored on the device you use to visit our webshop or any third party website, such as your smartphone, computer or tablet. When a cookie is stored on your device, your device can be recognised by the website you are visiting. In addition to cookies, we also make use of technologies which are similar to cookies and which can also help to recognise your device and gather information about your website visit, such as JavaScript and beacons.

1.2         Cookies generally have a limited validity from the time they are placed on your device. After the period of validity has expired, the cookie is automatically deleted by your browser. We use cookies with different periods of validity. Firstly, we may use cookies which are valid only for the duration of your browser session. These cookies are deleted immediately after you have closed the session. Secondly, we also use cookies which are stored longer, so that they can be read on your next visit to our website or the website of a third party.

1.3         To the extent that we collect your personal data using cookies, we will process your personal data in accordance with our page-privacy-policy.

1.4         In addition to our own cookies, we also use third-party cookies in our webshop. We have no control over the privacy and cookie policies of these third parties and are not responsible for them. These third parties use your information for their own purposes, such as tracking your internet behaviour and monitoring your interests.

2               Accepting or declining cookies

2.1         There are certain cookies we are only allowed to place if you have given your prior consent. As such, we will only make use of these cookies if you have given your consent. You give your consent by clicking “Agree” on the cookie banner on the landing page (homepage) of our web shop. You can withdraw your consent at any time by going to the cookie settings in the footer. If you withdraw your consent, we will no longer use cookies which require your consent on your device. We will continue to place those cookies which we are allowed to place without permission in order for the website to function properly.

2.2         If you no longer want cookies or if you want to delete cookies already placed, you can also adjust your browser settings. If you do decide to block all or some of the cookies, you may experience reduced functionality of our web shop.

3               Cookies in our webshop

3.1         Different types of cookies can be set through our webshop, which can be divided into five different categories: (i) strictly necessary cookies, (ii) performancel cookies, (iii) cookies for marketing purposes, (iv) social media cookies and (v) functional cookies.
In accordance with the law, we only set strictly necessary cookies for you, while the other four categories of cookies require your consent given via the cookie notice.

  1. 1. Strictly necessary cookies:
These cookies are necessary for the functioning of the website and cannot be disabled in your systems. Typically, these cookies are only set in response to actions you take that meet a service request, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling out forms. Cookies that require consent:

  2. 2. Performance cookies
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of our website. They help us answer questions about which pages are the most popular, which are the least used and how visitors move around the website. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not be able to know when you visited our website.

  3. 3. Cookies for marketing purposes
These cookies can be set via our website by our advertising partners. They may be used by these companies to create a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other websites. They do not directly store personal data, but are based on a unique identification of your browser and Internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.

  4. 4. Social media cookies
These cookies are set by a number of social media services that we use on the website so that you can share our content with your friends and networks. These cookies are able to track your browser across other websites and create a profile of your interests. This can affect content and messages you see on other websites. If you do not allow these cookies, you may not be able to use or see these sharing tools.

  5. 5. Functional cookies
With these cookies, the website is able to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third parties whose services we use on our sites. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly.
